Working at Our Animal Hospital
Hampton Park Veterinary Hospital has been proudly serving the Hampton Park community for over 25 years. Owned and led by Dr. Cameron Rain, our practice is known for its caring atmosphere and commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine. We primarily treat cats and dogs, but we treat rabbits and exotic pets, too, offering a diverse and rewarding experience for our veterinary staff. Our services include preventive care, surgery, dentistry, chemotherapy, and emergency care (during business hours).
We’re a Cat Friendly Clinic, certified by International Cat Care, and our approach is grounded in compassion, expertise, and lifelong partnerships with pet owners. “Caring for life” reflects our belief in supporting pets from their earliest days to their golden years.

Experienced Veterinary Nurse
As a Hampton Park Veterinary Hospital Veterinary Nurse, you will be part of something really special! We believe we make a difference in the lives of the pets and the clients we serve–and we believe that a good veterinary nurse is an invaluable part of our team. Responsibilities
- Support the veterinarian to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
- Assisting in surgeries and procedures.
- Communicate with clients regarding individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on options, medications, and additional treatments.
- Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems, including Hampton Park Veterinary Hospital’s Database.
- Use safe restraining techniques and follow standard protocols.
- Be willing to guide, work well with, and support fellow team members.
- Have FUN!
Responsibilities
- Certificate IV (or equivalent).
- 5+ years experience preferred.
